And in a blink…

And in a blink, my time here in France is almost over. Where did the time go? Why does time go so fast? Aging does get one thinking about time and what remains. I feel as though every moment must count. I don’t want to be on my death bed regretting anything. I have learned from my mistakes and feel I am living a pretty full life. I am grateful for this traveling life my husband’s job affords us and for my love of writing, a pretty portable job, which I am at this moment regretting I have not done enough of while here. Oh wait, no regrets. So I was sort of writing because I did a lot of research….in patisseries and brassieres, wine tasting and lots of sight seeing, and a little bit of shopping, all which I can use in my memoir someday. Right? I also went on short excursions with my husband. He visited his clients, and I did more research. Really important research. Read the list above. Seriously though, I have seen a little portion of the world that gives me an appreciation for a different culture, and a greater understanding of my own, and for all of this I am extremely grateful. I have enjoyed every minute of my time here.   It would be hard at this point to look back on my life with any regret. There are things I wish had been different, there are times I wish I had chosen another path, embarrassments, and moments of unkindness or ignorance which I would have liked to have had the wisdom to make different,...

Squats make everyday activities easier. They increase mobility and help you balance. And, this one’s for my lady friends, dangling over a toilet gets much, much easier.
